How to get rid of acne scars?

It really depends on what kind of scaring you have from your acne. Essentially, there are 3 main types of post acne signs. Brown spots, pink spots, and real acne scars—also referred to as “icepick”, “boxcar”, or “rolling” scars. The first two “colored” spots, will usually fade away on their own within about 2-3 months (once the active acne is controlled). Although our MDacne products are designed primarily to prevent and treat active acne, they also have ingredients that will help fade post-acne hyper-pigmentation more quickly as well.  “Real” acne scars are more complicated to treat—moisturizers and creams won't do much for with these there but there are minimally invasive treatments (microneedle RF and lasers) that are available in most dermatologists' offices that can certainly help.

MDacne products are designed primarily to treat and prevent active acne and not scars or dark spots (i.e. hyper-pigmentation). The first step for dark, post-acne scars spots is—of course—to control any active acne to prevent any new spots from forming. Having said that, the MDacne products do include ingredients that will help fade dark spots gently over time. To treat any existing deeper scars, you would need to refer to your local dermatologist to consider micro-needle RF treatment or fractional lasers.
