Overview

The Retinol Treatment System allows your skin to adjust to Retinol by starting the treatment with Retinol 0.25% and then switching to Retinol 0.5%. It combines the magic of pure Retinol with Niacinamide. Pure Retinol works to unclog pores and prevent acne blemishes and fine wrinkles without over-drying the skin. The Niacinamide (vitamin B3), a powerful anti-inflammatory ingredient, hydrates the skin, improves the skin's texture, and helps fade post-acne dark spots.

Pure Retinol 0.25% + 0.5%

How to Use

Start with your 0.25% Retinol. Apply the Retinol cream at night on clean, dry skin. In the beginning, apply it twice per week, and gradually increase the application frequency. Apply a pea-sized amount to your finger and touch the four areas of your face: forehead, chin, and the two cheeks, avoiding contact with eyes, eyelids, and lips. Always apply sunscreen when outdoors.

Once you are out of your 0.25% Retinol cream, switch to the 0.5%, Retinol. Keep in mind that it's 2X more potent. In the beginning, apply it twice per week, and gradually increase the application frequency.

Retinol products are not recommended for use by pregnant or nursing mothers.

I started using MDacne on December 19th, and I began the routine the same day my package arrived. The first thing I tried was the pore patch for my nose (I used it on my cheek area), and I was honestly shocked by how much it pulled out dead skin, dirt, oil, and who knows what else. It’s been only a few weeks since I…
It’s been only a few weeks since I started using the customized kit, but I do very much enjoy it. It stopped my large breakouts and I like the balance of different topical treatments between the wash and moisturizers. I will say, it is drying as it suggests but balancing out the right routine and frequency for you will help. 4/5 rating because I still need more time to see how I enjoy the product long term and I also feel like it doesn’t help with my hyperpigmentation, and in some cases it leaves marks from my acne bumps as apart of the process. In this, I can tell it’s working but it’s still something to navigate. I suggest switching between the benzoyl peroxide & retinol at night or including a toning brightener of some sorts to help (again caution to drying and irritation). Always add in products slowly and sparingly to be safe!

I am liking my products. I recently received my order and have a retinol cream as well now that I'm excited about in addition to my acne cream and face wash and moisturizer. My skin is way less oily and much smoother. Im looking forward to clear skin. I have been having some purging.
